Again it took me forever to figure out what I wanted to do for my project. I went from the idea of using myself to “kill myself”, then I went from creating myself protecting myself from death. To just turning myself into a skull-headed demon. Then finally I decided to turn some past pictures of Timothy and I into our furries (Furries or Furry – an animal form in the likeness of a human). I’m the cheetah and the fruit bat is Timothy. In this project, I used to most tools yet which included: Crop, magic brush, warp, erase, and fading. I also (if I remember correctly) used eighteen different layers to make the image more believable and realistic. I took a lot of pictures from google when it came to wildlife photographs; I ended up using two different fruit bats and one cheetah to create both sets of furries. Even though the furries themselves took most of the time and effort to create, the background was the hardest part. I like the red smoke idea, but the project seemed so unfinished. I looked through google until I found the heart that is now in the center background. Not only did the heart give me a better feeling of success, but it also pulled the two sets of creatures together (making the piece more whole instead of separate). I’m looking forward to perfecting my future furry artworks!
